Duties of Job:

  • Reports to the Deckboss, Bait Foreman, Factory Foreman, and the Cook
  • Fill in where needed
  • Perform duties without supervision
  • Help set mid-bouys, set gear, coil line, and pole gaff while working with deckhands
  • Chop bait and bait tubs while working in the baiting area
  • Bleed fish, use header machine, prepare fish byproduct, pan product, load and unload freezers, bag and stow product while working with processors
  • Assist cook in meal preparations and cleanup
  • Clean bathrooms, vacuum, do laundry for crew, empty garbage, and keep supplies stocked.

Training and Licenses: High school diploma or equivalent, No license required
