Northern Leader

Entered Service 2013

One of the largest and most innovative vessels built in the U.S. in 20 years

The 184-foot factory longline vessel combines a low environmental impact method of fishing with onboard processing capabilities that allows for both maximum utilization of vessel catch and the highest quality Alaskan whitefish production possible.

Designed for service in the longline fisheries of the North Pacific, Bering Sea, and Aleutian Islands, the vessel targets Wild Alaska Cod and other ground fish species. Its home port is Kodiak, Alaska.
