Duties of Job
- Responsible for the operational integrity of the vessel
- Maintenance all machinery and systems on board the fishing vessel
- Responsible for fueling operations
- Maintain logs for all machinery for service and maintenance
- Report any machinery problems to the Captain
- Maintain clean and safe machinery spaces
- Familiarity and adherence with all MARPOL regulations and 49 CFR part 130
- Working knowledge and competence in refrigeration is preferred
Training and Licenses
- Minimum 500-ton Uninspected Fishing license
- Commercial fishing license
